Windows 7 gpupdate not updating

Rated 4.75/5 based on 719 customer reviews

Hi I'm having issues at one school where the group policy's are not always applying.

They are logging in and losing desktops, documents etc also printers aren't mapping, unfortunately it never seems to happen when I'm there.

We need to create a new account, member of only Domain Users, and then configure DNS Dynamic updates on the other DHCP Servers with that account in order to make sure DHCP leases are registered in DNS automatically. It seems to pull down some policies but not the rest, annoyingly the most important policies it ignores :) :) :)See snapshot for GPupdate window. See this link for log file: VTUPDATE: It could very well be the DNS, issue is currently with our infra.provider, once a fix is applied I will update if this fixes or not. We’ve laid out the instructions with screenshots to guide you through it.First, navigate to “C:\Windows\Software Distribution\Download” (you may need to replace C: with a different drive letter if you installed Windows elsewhere) and delete all the files there. Open Windows Update by hitting the Windows key, typing “Windows Update” and clicking on it.
